For bookings made less than 90 days prior to departure, the entire trip cost must be paid at time of booking.
4. Cancellation policy
If you wish to cancel your retreat, you must notify LFP LTD. in writing. Once we have received your notice, cancellation fees take effect subject to the following terms, based on the date we receive your written notification: More than 90 days prior to departure: $1000 deposit forfeited • Between 60-90 days prior to departure: 50% of trip cost forfeited • Less than 60 days prior to departure: 100% of trip cost forfeited • Any amount forfeited, which has not already been paid by you to LFP LTD. will be recovered from you by LFP LTD. as a debt due and payable. • Your trip is transferable should you provide an alternate Participant at the same fare.
5. Changes/Trip Cancellations
LFP LTD. reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary by our team, trip leaders, teachers or partners. In the rare case of a cancellation on the part of LFP LTD. we will offer a transfer to another trip or a full refund of your funds. LFP LTD. is not responsible for any expenses or damages incurred as a result of trip cancellation including preparation costs, airline tickets, travel documents or other expenses. LFP LTD. reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure in the event that there are too few people booked, in which case you will be given a full refund of any and all payments made to LFP LTD. You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation for any injury, loss, expenses or damage (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation (including but not limited to visa, passport and vaccination charges, or departure, gear purchases, airport and airline taxes).
6. Travel Health Insurance
Travel Health Insurance with emergency evacuation coverage is Mandatory. LFP LTD. requires each trip member to purchase individual travel health insurance for their trip.
7. Travel Insurance
We highly recommend that you add “cancel for any reason” to your policy. Although normal trip cancellation will cover you for illness or injury, or for a travel companion’s illness, injury or death, it is limited to these. With “cancel for any reason” you will receive a percentage (usually 75%-100%) of all pre-paid costs. With this coverage, no matter what arises, you will be covered.
We suggest this policy from Travel Guard or similar:
